Ongoing High Standards
As an accredited, quality driven organization, Living Well is committed to working to the highest industry standards within a company-wide culture of client safety. This is simply our duty to our clients, our staff and our community.
Our clients, their families and our staff can be confident that our practices are under continual review and improvement within the framework of over 300 Accreditation Standards.
Sample Quality Dimensions
Emergencies (storms, power outages, floods, earthquakes) pose risks to our clients and staff. Our office staff are trained in how to organize, communicate and ensure support for those that depend on us. All of our clients are provided with a 72 hour emergency preparedness guide, and we provide 24/7/365 support.
Infection prevention and control practices are key to protecting you from becoming ill and possibly facing serious side effects of communicable diseases. 100% of our clients that were surveyed agreed that our caregivers do not go to work when they're ill, and that they practice good hand washing techniques.
Occupational Health and Safety
Our Occupational Health and Safety Committee meets every month to discuss various health and safety risks posed to health care workers in the field. The Committee works together with staff to prevent health risks such as MSI’s (musculoskeletal injuries), working alone, Emergency Planning, and educational opportunities.
Living Well takes great care to protect the rights of its clients and staff through strict confidentiality practices and procedures. Our staff are made aware of company confidentiality policies and why the clients we work with face higher risk of abuse and fraud than the general public.
