LPN Care Managers

All of our Care Managers are Licensed Practical Nurses who have experience working with seniors.  They assess all new clients for service needs and prepare the client care plan which provides direction to our caregivers.  The LPN Care Managers are in regular contact with the clients and families to ensure satisfaction with our service.  As well, the LPN Supervisors work with the caregivers as they take on new clients providing education and assistance so they are prepared for client service.

Beth R. LPN
Care Manager and Team Lead
Beth graduated as an LPN in 2011 and has been with Living Well Sine June 2013. After working in the acute care hospital setting, Beth took on an education role training hospital, residential and community care healthcare providers. Over the past three years, she has built a strong client base by her careful assessment and thorough follow-up.  She is the senior LPN Supervisor assisting all of her colleagues in their roles.  Beth has also been part of the Transition Team as Living Well took on the contract for additional service to Vancouver Coastal Authority clients.

Gary B. LPN
Care Manager

Our newest LPN Supervisor started with Living Well in April 2016.  He graduated as an LPN in 2010 and started his career in a home care setting gaining five years of experience in the field.  Along with his home care experience, he spent over two years in a residential facility as the “in-charge” nurse with over 120 clients and numerous care staff.  Gary brings excellent clinical experience working with seniors and young adults with mental & physical disabilities.  As well, he has gained supervisory skills from working with caregivers in a variety of settings.

Client Services Coordinator
After Inga graduated from UBC with a Bachelors of Nursing in Science, she wasn’t expecting to jump right in to the emergency room. That’s where she worked as a Registered Nurse for 6 years before moving on to become a Scheduler at a local home care agency. As a caregiver for her own family, she is thankful for the flexibility in her work. She also enjoys meeting the people she does at Living Well.

Loralee R.
Client Services Coordinator
Loralee comes to us from the film industry where she spent the last 20 years working after completing her BFA at SFU. She was born and raised in Vancouver but did spend 5 years in the UK to study Theatre Arts. Her hobbies reflect that she is a true patron of the arts. She enjoys theatre, dance, music, movies and reading. Loralee also likes to get outdoors for biking, long walks and swimming. She looks forward to getting to know everyone at Living Well.

Ashley T.
Client Services Coordinator

Ashley grew up in the lower mainland, but spent half of her adult life in the Okanagan, and now is new to North Vancouver. She’s experience working in scheduling since 2012, and has recently overcome some personal health limitations/restrictions, which has shown her more than ever how important our caregivers are to our clients. She likes helping people, spends her free time volunteering with her church, and doing things that let her use her creativity, such a painting, or baking/cooking. She looks forward to working with everyone at Living Well.

When Christine Smith took on the challenge of starting up a home support agency, her goal was to offer the best of all worlds when it came to taking care of seniors and their caregivers. After more than a decade of hard work with a dedicated team, she is comforted in the fact that she can offer a service which adds to the quality of life for so many.

“Living Well” was thought up one day as Christine was fly-fishing on the river. A place she truly believes where one can live well.

Mike H.
General Manager
Mike knew that he had a knack for numbers when he began working as an accountant, over 35 years ago. His diverse background in technology and mineral exploration allowed him to work internationally for many months of the year. However, at Living Well, he has enjoyed staying home on the North Shore where he can share his love of fishing and camping with his family.

Lene P. BA
Manager of Human Resources
Lene has called the North Shore her home for the past 38 years, working as a Human Resource Manager in various care facilities before she came to Living Well, in 2013. She is a wife and a mom to two boys, keeping busy with their sports and events. She enjoys travel, reading and Pilates in her spare time.

Kerri S.
Accounting Coordinator
Kerri has over 20 years of experience in the home support industry fulfilling various roles at agencies of all sizes. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, yoga and hiking. When it is warm outside, she always takes it as an opportunity to visit a local beach or be outdoors.
